a) Quotations shall remain valid until thirty (30) days from date of quotation.
b) Quotations are based on ‘Lock-Up’ being within eighteen (18) months of the date of quotation. Any work thereafter will be repriced at then current prices.
A written purchase order and/or return of a signed copy of quotation and/or credit application approval and/or deposit is required before production commencement.
a) A deposit of 40% of the total quotation amount is required for new clients. A second payment of up to 65% of the payable balance is invoiced with the delivery of frames, third payment of up to 95% of the payable balance at Lock-Up and final payment of remaining payable balance at completion.
b) Payment terms are seven (7) days from date of invoice unless otherwise advised.
c) Electronic Bank transfers are preferred. Credit Card payments are accepted but will incur a surcharge (only VISA and MASTERCARD Debit and Credit cards are accepted, surcharge amount may vary with type of card).
d) Interest is payable on overdue invoices, calculated from the first day after the due date stated on the invoice, at a rate of 12% per annum.
DESIGN, WIND LOAD AND GLAZING CERTIFICATE
a) All quotations are based on an unqualified estimated Rating unless Wind Load (ULS & SLS) has been advised.
b) After quotation acceptance, if a new/different Wind Rating is advised, requiring a change in glass thickness or frame, a cost variation to the quotation may be applicable.
c) Written advice from the project engineer of the Wind Loads is required prior to the presentation of a Glazing Certificate.
All openings must be structurally capable to accommodate all loads transferred from any/all window, door and glass products.
NO ALLOWANCES HAVE BEEN MADE BY Glass Blocks & ALUMINIUM FOR:
a) Relocation of any obstructions;
b) Removal and disposal of existing structures;
c) Structural support in floors and walls;
d) Electrical work;
e) Hoisting, Scaffolding and Hoarding.
BUILDER’S / CLIENT’S RESPONSIBILITIES
a) Preparation of openings, including (if required) waterproofing surfaces where aluminium framing or sills would otherwise be in permanent contact with earth, cement and lime products, stone, brick or timber and dissimilar metals;
b) Hoisting or craning of material to installation area.

Floors must be level to within +/- 2 mm.
All quotations are based on presence of suitable, close and easy access to move materials to installation location.
Project lead times commence from receipt of written order, deposit payment and/or credit approval (if applicable) only. Lead times are also subject to availability of exact site dimension (rendered/tiled openings) and final selection of finishes.
No Water Ratings are provided for open-in doors. Detailed discussions should be had with Glass Blocks to advise the best way to meet job requirements.
